Before, so I'm gonna say this. Listen. If you have been listening and you've been listening with your soul, then I know that something in you has already begun to shift. You might feel like I feel right now, where you've got goosebumps. Like, I know whenever I get chills all over my body, it means the Holy Spirit is present. I feel a tear welling up in my eye. I am. I'm excited for what God is doing through this series.

So let me just say that that's not what I was initially gonna say first, but. But let me just say that I'm excited because if something is shifting in you, that means it's not just your goals. It's about your governance, your being, your embodiment. It's not just your vision. It's about a recognition of your vessel. And today we get to go deeper. We're going to talk about graduating from being a moment to becoming a movement. Because if you think that you're just building a business, I promise you, you are thinking way too small.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:04:34]:
The fact of the matter is this. You are building an infrastructure for legacy that will disrupt industries and reroute bloodlines. Ooh, can I get a witness? The way I feel in my spirit. So how did this whole moment versus movement start? Well, June of 2025, I was celebrating 17 years in business from the day that I made the first dime in the name of Incredible One enterprises. It happened June 27, 2008. We are 17 years later since I made that very first dime and I went to Thailand. I actually bum rushed and piggybacked on a client's trip. And it was a game changer for me.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:05:18]:
Y'. All, I think sometime when God wants to speak to you, he has to completely get you out of your comfort zone. Listen, I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. I still live in Delaware. I live in New Castle, Delaware now. So I moved about 20 minutes, but I still live here. And I travel the world. I get to do what many would consider to be big things.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:05:42]:
But there has been a part of me who has had comfort in living in Delaware. I've never lived anywhere else. I've traveled all around the world, so grateful, but I've never lived anywhere else. And I think that that plays into my smallness at times. I hope you don't mind my transparency. I mean, even if you do mind it, I mean, it is what it is because this is who I am. And I'm always gonna be her. I'm always gonna keep it real and be real.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:06:09]:
And I've accomplished a lot, right? I'm the first millionaire in my family and that's not even my biggest accomplishment, but that's the one that popped in. I have done some really amazing things and I have self purported that I still play small. So when I went to Thailand, literally before I left to go to Thailand, the Holy Spirit spoke and said, I'm going to speak to you in Thailand. And I was like, okay. And I get why I needed to be in Thailand to hear what the Spirit was saying at that point in time. And that is that you've. I've been a moment, but I was called to be a movement that I've never supposed to be a blip on the radar. I'm always supposed to be a force to be reckoned with, a force for transformation and change for other people.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:06:56]:
But I hadn't yet really realized it. And in my comfort zone, I wouldn't realize it, but being in Thailand, which was surprisingly affluent, I did not expect it. I mean, I didn't expect it to be, you know, third world poor, but I did not expect it to be borderline Dubai. That was a beautiful surprise. And in the energy of the affluence and the abundance that is Thailand, Bangkok, especially Phuket, the places that I got to see, I heard the Spirit say, you've been a moment, but I called you to be a movement. And I think about over the last 17 years, the thousands of entrepreneurs and small business owners that I have directly worked with and impacted the hundreds, if not thousands that I've helped get their businesses over six figures. That was what we were doing way back in the day. And then of course, we shifted in 2020, really focused on seven figures, the move to millions movement and the 77, 78.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:08:01]:
Because we have one person that we are aware of from reading my book Move to Millions that has crossed over seven figures. Hallelu. So exciting. And I know that there is more. So that's where this whole thing started, right? Like me hearing guys say that and being in Thailand, actually hearing and receiving it and coming home and putting things in place and getting to work to shift from moment to movement. We'Re just getting started. So let me start with some definitions for you. A moment is external, whereas a movement is eternal. Oh, that gave me chills. Mm. Oh, Lord. A moment gets you paid. A movement makes others rise.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:10:01]:
A moment puts you on stage. A movement births stages for others. A moment draws attention. A movement shifts atmospheres. A moment elevates your name. A movement delivers a message that Earth was waiting to hear. I want you to hear me when I say this. You are not just called to win.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:10:24]:
You were called to lead. And your win is not complete until others are rising through it. Now, I've always defined leadership as a person worth following, or a leader as a person worth following. That's always been my definition. If you are worth following and someone is really willing to take up their bed and walk, so to speak, because of what you've done, then you are indeed a leader. I think that that's really, really powerful. I still have these chills. Holy Spirit, have your way.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:10:57]:
Yeah. Oh, Yasha. I feel the spirit, y'. All. Mm. I'm just sitting in the significance of what I hear the Holy Spirit saying in this moment. When we think about this episode, from moment to movement, do you realize that only 11% of entrepreneurs become repeat 7 figure earners? According to Forbes and according to Harvard Business review, only 12% of businesses survive beyond the second generation. Most.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:11:27]:
Most founders build for momentum, not multiplication. Why? Because most chase momentum, not multiplication. They chase virality. They want to go Viral. They don't chase values. They build audiences, not legacy. I want you to get excited because that has the potential to change. It's the whole reason why I wanted to do this legacy led CEO series.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:11:51]:
Not just to give you some context, but to help you to understand, like, who we are really building when we do the work that it is that we do. This is about so much more than making the move to millions. So much more than that. And I know for many that is enough. Like to be able to generate millions of dollars a year from a business and then ultimately get to the point where you are netting millions of dollars a year as a build. A business can be a game changer. Oh, my gosh. It's a game changer.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:12:21]:
I remember the first time someone said to me, you didn't just change my business, you changed my life. It's happened a myriad of times, but the very first time, the way it hit my spirit, I knew in that moment that I wasn't just running a business, that I was carrying a mantle. And that moment, it rerouted my mission. I stopped building to be seen. I started building to send. That was the day that I became a movement steward. Now, I'm gonna be honest, I didn't entirely realize that, but if I'm really being honest, that was the day that I knew I had the potential to be a movement, even though I wasn't actively operating as it. There are my own limiting beliefs and doubts that I needed to work through in order to experience the shift.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:13:17]:
So what I want to share with you is how I began to realize where I was still being a moment and what I needed to change in order to be a movement. And I want to share with you the signs that you're still leading from a moment. So let's do this audit. You are building from a moment. If your brand only works when you show up, if your income is launch dependent, if you feel guilty resting, if your content inspires but it doesn't produce results. If your clients get results but they don't share you with others, they keep you to themselves. Ooh. Yes, there is a reason your strategy feels stalled.

If your movement dies when you rest, you haven't built a movement, you've built an idol. I know that one's gonna sting and I want you to let it. Because rest shouldn't unravel the impact. If everything collapses when you pause, that's a false God, not a God given model. I had a client who came to me not too long ago after hitting $1.2 million a year in their business. But every month they felt like they were trying to survive. They could not figure out where the money came from. Their audience was engaged but not dependent.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:15:37]:
Their clients got results, but they needed her to be present. Like she couldn't build a coaching team to support her clients because her clients wanted her there. Let me tell you about the work we did. She got fed up because she was technically doing seven figures, but she didn't feel free. We rebuilt everything. Her frameworks, we gave her a model for licensing her business. We got a team infrastructure. And we did my favorite part, which is the soul healing that is so required to get out of survival mode and to start feeling safe with money.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:16:12]:

Everything began to shift. Everything began to shift. Now here's the one thing I want you to understand. In order to create a movement, you're going to need business infrastructure. I think about the move to Millions method, right? We have strategy optimization, sales, team infrastructure. We have systems and efficiency. We have support, team alignment, self care, success, mindset, and soul leadership. You're going to need infrastructure systems to support your business's infrastructure so you don't have to be the only one making decisions or present to earn.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:17:31]:
And here's the part that most businesses avoid, most entrepreneurs forget, and that's that movements require architecture. Anointing alone won't multiply. I'm sorry maybe to be the one to tell you, but it won't. It must be structured to scale. And there are three core pillars that I want you to think about. Your intellectual infrastructure. This is your frameworks, your methodologies, your teachings, your language, your jargon. It all needs to be protected and it must outlive you.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:18:01]:
What I get excited about, and y' all probably don't know this, I have a boatload of frameworks. I have like 30 different frameworks. They're all registered trademarks. By the way, my IP portfolio, I will be able to sell that. I told you, I'm building a $100 million portfolio. My IP as a part of my portfolio is worth over eight figures by itself, based on what we've already produced for clients. So I want you to ask yourself, can someone implement this without you in the room? If not, then you don't have intellectual infrastructure. You need to develop it.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:18:37]:
That's why the move to millions method exists. It's not a speech, it's a scaffold. It is the core backdrop of everything that we do. If you are familiar with clockwork, it's our qbr, our queen. Queen B. Role number two, you need a cultural infrastructure. These are going to be your shared beliefs, your language, your rhythms that bond people together. The phrase legacy led CEO is more than a tagline.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:19:03]:
It's a spiritual identity. Right? So if you really want to have a movement, these are the infrastructures you need. Again, number one, intellectual infrastructure. Number two, cultural infrastructure. And number three, a leadership infrastructure. You cannot scale alone.

Darnyelle [00:19:19]:
You can't scale by yourself.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:19:20]:
Like, if you think that you can scale and it's just you. Boo. No, that's not the way it works. Movements multiply through ambassadors, successors and carriers of the mantle. If your clients can't carry the work, you are the bottleneck, not the blueprint. So you're going to have to get crystal clear. And you're going to have to train your clients to share you with others. You don't have a referral program established in your business's infrastructure.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:19:51]:
Get one expeditiously. It's so important if you really want to make this happen, because your movement becomes immortal when others can carry it without losing the anointing, right? So as you're building out your coaching team, or maybe you create your own licensing and certification program. Whatever it is that needs to allow your work to continue to living on. It becomes a game changer if you do this, if I'm really being honest. So I want you to ask yourself a couple of questions. Number one, what have I really been building recognition or replication? Number two, what dies when I rest? And number three, who is rising because of what I've built? I have a few clients that pop into my head right now and I will not say their names out loud, but I have a few clients that I watch them move as they are continuing. Some of them are still working directly with me. Some of them are alumni of our programs.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:20:45]:
But I'm watching them build. I'm watching them take what they learned in working with me and turn it into something incredible. It is amazing. At the time of recording this episode, you won't hear it until later, but at the time of recording this episode, the Inc 5000 list just came out. Several clients that we have worked with in the last five years, three to five years, made the list this year. Let me just tell you how that warms my heart. Now I have made the decision not to continue applying to the Inc 5000. I have an episode here on the podcast that you'll be able to listen to as a rewind in the month of August as to why not, although we still qualify to be on the list.

Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:21:34]:
But that's neither here nor there. Having clients who are rising because of what I've built is an indication of legacy and I get so excited about that. I want you to just sit with those three questions. What have I really been building? Recognition or replication? What dies when I rest and who is rising because of what I built should have just let them sit and anchor in. And then I want you to repeat after me. I am not just building a momentum. I am not just building momentum. I am birthing a movement.
