“I cannot imagine the emptiness of just doing more to do more and accumulating more to accumulate more. Where is the enoughness?” Kelly Roach
What if the business everyone admires is the very thing that's costing you the life you actually wanted? You've built the revenue, established the reputation, created the opportunities, and earned the right to call yourself successful. But somewhere along the way, you may have accepted a dangerous trade: more money in exchange for less marriage, less family, less health, less faith, and less of yourself. And the entrepreneurial world has convinced you that's simply the price of admission. I don't believe that. Neither does my guest, eight-figure entrepreneur Kelly Roach. In fact, Kelly learned this lesson when a devastating business crisis stripped away the very things she had relied on to succeed, leaving her with something no strategy could replace. What she discovered changed how she leads, how she sells, and what she believes wealth is actually for. And if you're building a seven-figure business while quietly wondering whether success is supposed to cost this much, this conversation may challenge the very definition of success you've been working toward.
What good is building a seven- or eight-figure business if you have to sacrifice the life you were building it to enjoy? In this deeply revealing conversation with business strategist and eight-figure entrepreneur Kelly Roach, we're challenging the traditional definition of entrepreneurial success and exploring what it actually takes to build lasting wealth without losing yourself in the process. From a devastating lawsuit that threatened everything Kelly had built to the spiritual awakening that transformed her relationship with business, money, and leadership, this conversation goes far beyond conventional business growth strategy. We're getting into faith-based entrepreneurship, CEO burnout, sustainable business growth, wealth consciousness, relationship-driven sales, and why the future of selling may have less to do with artificial intelligence and more to do with genuine human connection. Kelly also introduces her Miracle Hour methodology, a simple, relationship-focused daily sales system designed to help entrepreneurs create more predictable revenue without sacrificing the things that matter most. Because the ultimate measure of success isn't how much money your business makes. It's how much of your life you actually get to keep while making it.
Here is the truth: being successful at business doesn't automatically mean you're successful at living. And if you're so busy accumulating more that you're losing what money was supposed to protect, it's time to redefine the win.

Kelly Roach: [00:00:00] God is abundance.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: It's humanity that projects scarcity, fear, limitation. In order for me to win, someone else has to lose. That's all made up. We made up all that stuff. God is abundance. God gives us every opportunity, every possibility, every tool. He gives us the intellect. He gives us the blessings.
He gives us the opportunities. He has ordained us and given us the blessing and the potentiality to create wealth in our lives.
Darnyelle: Welcome to the Move to Millions podcast. Each week we explore the intersection of business growth, neuroscience, money and wealth consciousness, leadership, and spiritual alignment so that you can build a business that funds your legacy without fragmenting your life. I'm Dr. Darnyelle, best-selling author and creator of the Move to Millions method.
And if there's one thing I'm clear about, it's that the Move to Millions is not just about business growth. It is an evolution of who you are and how you lead, and trust me when I [00:01:00] tell you that until you are safe and secure in your relationships with yourself, money, wealth, and success, your move to millions is indeed in jeopardy.
My job is to equip you to become your very own sanctuary for soul and strategy success. This is the Move to Millions podcast. Welcome home.
Hey, y'all. Welcome back to the Move to Millions podcast. I got another fire, fire, fire interview for you today. I knew that having her on the show was going to be filled with power. I don't even know that I knew how much, but it's a woman that I've always admired, and over the last four or five years, I've really watched her put her faith at the center of everything that it is that she has done, is doing, and will do.
And it has made me kinda lean in a little [00:02:00] bit to see what it is that she's been doing in the world. And I'm just so honored and grateful. She's such a benevolent, amazing human, and there are such a shortage of them. But this is how you know you've run into someone who's actually doing what they say they do, because they show up in the world entirely different than those who are still chasing and operating in a false sense of abundance that is truly scarcity.
My guest today, abundance personified, and I'm so excited. If you've never heard her name before, you'll be so grateful that I'm introducing you to her today. I wanna talk to you and introduce you to Kelly Roach. Now, I'm gonna take a moment and read her bio, and I just want you to get anchored in for what's gonna be a very powerful conversation.
Business strategist Kelly Roach transforms overworked entrepreneurs into seven and eight-figure CEOs by teaching them [00:03:00] how to leverage timeless business principles employed by billion-dollar corporations with the most powerful online marketing speed and agility strategies of today. Before starting her own company, Kelly spent years in corporate America, rising through the ranks of the Fortune 500 to become the youngest senior vice president in the company.
During her time in corporate, Kelly led a team of over 100 to record-breaking sales, even during the economic downtime of 2008 and 2010. Listen, y'all, she's a God girl like me. She is an advocate for faith and family first, and that you don't have to sacrifice your desire to build true, lasting, and uncontrollable wealth.
And you'll even do it much faster if you're willing to truly, authentically put God first. I want you to grab your Move to Millions podcast notebook, a beverage, and your favorite ink pen, and let's jump into my conversation with the Kelly [00:04:00] Roach Kelly Roach. Oh, my goodness, I am so excited to welcome you to the Move to Millions podcast.
How are you today?
Kelly Roach: I'm so great, and I'm so happy to be here. I'm so glad that we're able to reconnect like this and share our journeys and have this time together.
Darnyelle: Yeah. Really looking forward to this conversation, because you are such a powerhouse. And as I was saying just before we started recording, you're such an amazing human.
Like, I don't know a lot of people like you who are as accomplished as you are and as benevolent as you are. I think that that is- Mm-hmm ... a very rare combination, but I honor it, I celebrate it, and I just wanna start by saying I see you, and I'm just so grateful that we get to share this time and space together today.
Kelly Roach: Thank you. Thank you.
Darnyelle: You're so welcome. All right, so I just read them your amazing bio. They know all the things that you have shared, all the things you have done out in the world. Is there anything else that's really important to you that they know about you [00:05:00] to anchor in and ground in our conversation today?
Kelly Roach: Well, I mean, uh, I'll just share this, right? And we'll obviously talk about this in much more depth throughout the conversation, but, you know, I got the chance to write the dedication, you know, to my book that's coming out at the end of the month as we're talking. And, you know, I've dedicated many of my books to my husband and my daughter, but once again, I, I did that again.
And, you know, I, what I said to them is, "You are the magic and miracles in my life, and we are rich because we have each other." And we'll talk more about this throughout the conversation, but really truly, like, the pinnacle of wealth is when you no longer have an attachment or need to that. Even though you've created it, you have it, you enjoy it, but you're no longer in this state of, like, scarcity, need, attachment, and, like, you could lose it all and you'd still be happy as pie 'cause you know what's actually important in life.
And I think that's kind of, like, where I am in my life, and it, it takes a [00:06:00] lot of self work to get there, especially if you came from financial scarcity, as I did, on the free lunch line and all the things. So yeah, I think that's wha- what I'm most proud of that I've built in my life is what happens between the four walls of my home.
I love that. And that, that's what I would share if there was one thing I got to share after you read my bio.
Darnyelle: I love that, and that just makes me wanna take our conversation in an entirely different direction than we just spoke about a moment ago. I love that so much, Kelly. I don't come from an amazing family.
You know, similarly grew up in poverty. As the saying goes, we didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. My parents were addicts. My mom went to jail when I was young. I don't even know if you knew all this stuff about me. And I, of course, have gotten to the point where I do truly have wealth.
And what I love about what you just shared, in addition to sharing about your daughter, Madison, when you didn't say her by, call her by name, but I think unless they've been [00:07:00] under a rock, they know your- Yeah. ... daughter's name is Madison, okay?
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: So, right, but, you know, in addition to talking about your amazing husband and your daughter, what you just said about getting to the point where- It's not about the money because you've gotten beyond the scarcity, you've gotten beyond the, the lack.
You've leveraged your skills, gifts, talents, and abilities to create the wealth. You've learned how to feel safe with money so that you can hold it and actually have it become wealth that establishes legacy, and I know you, like me, own many companies. And even when you get to all of that, that's not the thing you're most excited about.
Like, I'm not excited about that anymore. Like, it... You know what I mean? Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, am I making sense? Yeah. Like, like- Yeah, absolutely ... talk to me about that for you. What was the journey like, especially growing up, free lunch line, been there, done that, got the T-shirt, like-
Kelly Roach: Yes ...
Darnyelle: how, how do you allow yourself to move from this lack and scarcity mentality [00:08:00] into the wealth, abundance, and benevolence that is Kelly Roach today?
Kelly Roach: Yeah, I mean, I think that Earlier in my life, I was almost obsessive about becoming financially free. Like obsessive because I just wanted to escape the- Mm-hmm ... every day of the arguments, and the fear, and the scarcity, and the how are we gonna make this work, and the arguing, and, you know, all of that. And so I think it was an obsession that drove me to a point.
And listen, there's good and bad that comes out of any one of those kinds of traumas, right? Because that obviously can drive... I had amazing work ethic, I was willing to do whatever it took to succeed. I built an eight-figure business, right? I built up other multiple six, seven com- figure companies. Like, there are good parts of that.
But I think that, again, like, once you actually do check all of those boxes, it's almost like the hierarchy of needs. Mm-hmm. Where, like, when you're coming out of survival, you're focused on the bottom of the pyramid, which is [00:09:00] food, shelter, taking care of things, like, those basic fundamentals, right? And then once you learn and master those skills, which is why I talk obsessively every single day about focusing on the basic fundamentals of business- Mm-hmm
and how important that is, it's like once you master those things, you can lose it and rebuild it a million times because you have the skills that no one can take away from you. Right. Which means that you can, you can transcend where you came from, which was the necessity of that obsessive focus on how do I get out of this situation, and you can begin to move up through that hier- hierarchy of needs.
And ultimately, that's why and where, and probably for me and you after we created wealth, our faith is the centerpiece of our lives. Yeah. Because ultimately, once you release the need, the fear, the obsession over worldly things, all that's left is becoming the human that God intended you to be, which is actually why any of us are even [00:10:00] here in the first place.
Mm-hmm. And my absolute favorite verse from the Bible that I try to live from every single day is, "Do not grow weary of doing good- Mm-hmm ... for at the proper time..." Right? And, and I try to live by that every single day, remembering that God chose us, He, He selected us, He created us with a mission, a purpose.
And the mission and the purpose is not accumulating things, because none of it goes anywhere with us anyway. But it is ultimately fulfilling on the great and magnificent plan that He had for our lives, which is to reflect and glorify Him, and to be of service to other people. Yeah. And so, you know, we all have to take responsibility for learning those fundamental things so that we can put ourselves in a position to be able to focus our lives on being of service, and reflecting and glorifying God.
And not that that's on hold when that's happening. I've been a person of faith my whole life, so that wasn't, like, a new part of my identity that just, like, [00:11:00] manifested, right? But at the same time, I think that when you realize that bu- God is abundance, and God has already given you everything that you need to deal with the worldly things that you're going to have to deal with.
You are responsible for rising to the occasion. I always say, like, I love the St. Augustine quote that says, like, you know, "God is gonna give you the wind, but you have to raise the sail." Right. Like, you gotta raise the sail, right? So we have to raise the sail, but we're always given everything that we need in order for the boat to sail into the sunset, and it's just up to us to show up for that moment and, and show up for that opportunity, whatever that is, you know?
Darnyelle: Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more, and I'm curious because I remember, I don't know, maybe I feel like maybe it was four or five years ago, time is moving so fast, where your faith took front stage. Like it was- Yeah ... probably always there, right? Similar to me- Yeah ... happened to me in 2013. I was always a God [00:12:00] girl, but- Yep
2013, I had that road to Damascus moment and was like, you know what- Yeah ... God, if you before me, then it matters not who be against me. And if I'm gonna do this, I have- Yeah ... to do it with you, so I'm gonna bring you front and center. And so I'm curious for you- Yeah ... like what was the moment that made you say, "I don't care who I offend"?
And I think you probably figured out the same thing I figured out. You, it surprises you- Yeah ... how many people have been-
Kelly Roach: Yes ...
Darnyelle: wanting you to talk about-
Kelly Roach: Yes ...
Darnyelle: God and, and to go there with them, right? 1,000%. So, so yeah. Yes. Let's talk about that for a few minutes 'cause I know I noticed it, and I was like, "Kelly's a God girl?
Okay, okay."
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: This is, this is a whole nother place that we get to potentially play together because-
Kelly Roach: Yes ...
Darnyelle: when you understand who God is, and you live in the abundance of God, it does change everything. Yeah. Not just the outward countenance that people start to see, but even the way that you operate inside of your business.
Like, I can imagine- Yeah ... I know we're gonna talk [00:13:00] about your book in a little while. It's called The Miracle Hour. I'm just gonna assume it's got something to do with the Father. Kelly Roach: I mean, I think my first, like, almost 10 years in business, I tried so hard to, like, be a professional. Mm. You know? Like, I was playing the part and being the professional, so it was like my at-home life was, like, where my prayer life and my family was, and all the things that I actually, like, cared about as Kelly the human, and then, like, my business life was like, "I am a business growth strategist, and I teach people business," right?
And I, like, tried to maintain that, like, persona of, like, the separation of those things.
Darnyelle: Yeah.
Kelly Roach: And, you know, definitely my kind of crutch through [00:15:00] all of life, my modus operandi, was, like, hard work. Like- Mm-hmm ... I overcame everything. I achieved every goal. I did everything. And I became very self-reliant. Still a person of faith, but very self-reliant, and achieved a lot of success, right?
And I had this season where I actually got sued by Entrepreneur Magazine. Oh. And it was a devastating blow. Like, it was really bad. I lost my brand. I lost my brand identity. I had to pay people to change thousands and thousands and thousands of files, because I had the word entrepreneur in my name. My company was called The Unstoppable Entrepreneur.
Oh, wow. So I had tens of thousands of brand impressions, my whole persona, my brand, my name on my b- like, everything, right? Mm. And so I was going through that, and what I learned for the first time in my life going through that was I had always been the person that was there for other people, and people were [00:16:00] very used to relying on me, taking from me, using me, all of those things.
I did not know that. I was, like, happy, like, naive Kelly. I had no idea that that was- Mm-hmm ... the way. So during that season when I was dealing with this massive lawsuit, having to rebuild myself from nothing, like, having to recreate all of my success, change everything, I lost my top performing team members.
I lost a ton of my best clients. Oh. Two of my business partners at the time turned on me because they actually had to start doing work in the businesses that we had started together, 'cause I was actually like, "Okay, I have to deal with this. I'm gonna need you guys to, like, do your thing." So it was the first time that I actually needed to, like, rely on my support system-
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm
Kelly Roach: and there, there was no support system.
Darnyelle: Wow.
Kelly Roach: Right? And so, besides of course my husband, right? And, and there were, you know, there were some people that were there, but like you understand what I'm saying. It was like one of those revealing moments of like, "Oh, this is how it is. [00:17:00] Like I thought we were like this."
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm. "
Kelly Roach: Like we weren't like this. We were like this because you were getting, and you were taking, and you were receiving, but then when I needed you to be there for me Gone in an instant.
Darnyelle: Yeah.
Kelly Roach: And so I'm going through dealing with this massive lawsuit and dealing with my best people turning on me and leaving, and dealing with losing clients, and dealing with two business partners just basically being like, "I didn't sign up to work this hard.
I'm not doing this." So then we took on and ended up servicing all the clients for free under the umbrellas of my other company. Like, it was a disa- like, train wreck on train wreck, okay? Mm. The end, the story works out great. Everything's fine. No one needs to worry. But the bottom line was my stress was so bad that I would literally walk every day, and I would pray to God to not have a heart attack.
And I would literally say, "God, I don't want to die. I do not want to die. I believe I'm here for a purpose. I still wanna serve. I'm not [00:18:00] giving up. I don't think that I'm done. Please don't let me have a heart attack." Like, that is how bad it was. And that was the very first time in my life that there was no amount of hard work that I could do to change my situation.
I could not use my tool that I had relied on my entire life. The only thing that was left was my faith. And when that happened for me, that was not when I discovered my faith. That is not when I became a person of faith. That was when I realized that I no longer, in good conscience, could speak about business and not talk about my faith.
Darnyelle: Yeah.
Kelly Roach: I said, "God, I will never, ever, ever talk about business again without attributing everything that I've ever achieved, been, done, and overcome- Yeah ... to my faith." And so it was in- 'Cause business is a
Darnyelle: spiritual journey. [00:19:00] Like-
Kelly Roach: Yeah ...
Darnyelle: you cannot be- Yeah ... an entrepreneur and not- Uh-huh ... build a relationship with, with God.
Yeah. Like, I just don't think- Yeah ... it's possible.
Kelly Roach: Yeah. I, I, yeah, exactly, exactly. And so for me, like, uh, there were two camps of people when I, like, really started, like, sharing all of this. There was a camp of people that were like, "Obviously," like, "we've been waiting for, like, so many years, like, why haven't you been talking about this?"
And then there was a camps of people that were like, "Oh," like, you know, "Where is this coming from?" Like- Mm-hmm ... they thought it was, like, something new. I'm like, "Do you, like, listen to me? Even if you listen to me and I'm not saying it, you should probably be able to pick up on, like, who I am," right? So that was kind of interesting.
But yeah, so it wasn't that my faith changed. Mm-hmm. It was that I was no longer willing to compromise in the distinction between my private prayer life and my private spiritual growth and my private relationship with God. And how I was showing up in the marketplace. Yeah. And that's when kind of my journey of marketplace [00:20:00] ministry began, because I really realized at that point that one of the reason why so many business owners are burning out and going out of business and, you know, all of these things, is that there's so many secular leaders- Yeah
in the world of business that either don't have a faith life- Mm-hmm ... or they don't share their faith life, that most people in business don't have role models of people that are deeply grounded in their spirituality and in faith. And because of that, they have a total reliance on self, which we- Yep ... know that doesn't work out well.
Darnyelle: Right.
Kelly Roach: It never does. And so that was just, like, a total... Like, it was a switch that flipped for me that, like, there was no going back. I was all in. I was like, "This is what I have to talk about every single day now, because people- Yeah ... need to know that's how you get through, that's how you persist, that's how you overcome, that's how you become everything that you're capable of being."
Darnyelle: Yeah. I'm not [00:21:00] grateful that you went through what you went through, but I do know everything happens for you.
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: You know? It, it, I know that it was for your good that it happened- Yeah ... but I still could not imagine what you had to go through and, and everything that went along with that. And at the same time, I'm also happy and grateful that it's now a part of your- Yeah
conversation. You know? Yeah. I felt-
Kelly Roach: Yeah ...
Darnyelle: like the only... And for such a long time. Yeah. And there's, you know, there's a handful of people that I could name- Yeah ... that have been part of this conversation. And for someone such as you, who has accomplished so much, that has worked with so many, and who has really been a tried and true business person, like I, I consider myself a real business owner, a real CEO.
Yeah. I d- I think that there are- Yeah ... a lot of fly-by-night- Yeah ... CEOs that just kind of pop up- Yeah ... and, and many of them, they're gone now because-
Kelly Roach: Yep ...
Darnyelle: you know, the- Yep ... the COVID-19- For
Kelly Roach: sure ...
Darnyelle: [00:22:00] wellspring is gone, too. Yes. And so to, to have a person, you know, who understands business, is really doing business, and doing business at a high level- Begin to acknowledge that part of themself.
Like, it's been- Yeah ... breathtaking to watch. And so- Uh-huh ... I'm grateful that, again, I'm, I, p- and this, maybe this is wrong to say this, but I'm, I'm glad that you went through all of that- Yeah ... so that we could see this side of you. Because I, I think that when you're just hard work, hard work, hard work, hard work-
Kelly Roach: Yeah
Darnyelle: we continue that narrative that many of us learn- Yeah ... as children that hard work is how you make money, and hard w- Yeah ... like, and it's not hard work. I was in the shower, Kelly. It's probably been two years ago now, maybe even longer than that. Mm-hmm. All the times run together. But I was in the shower, and the Holy Spirit said, "Effort won't make the millions.
Embodiment will."
Kelly Roach: Mm.
Darnyelle: And I had to, like- Yes ... get out of the shower. I didn't even know if I was finished washing, but I had to get out of the shower-
Kelly Roach: Yeah ...
Darnyelle: and grab [00:23:00] my robe and go grab a journal and say, "Okay, Holy Spirit, say that again." And He sent me to read Moses and Exodus. I read the entire- Yeah ... book of Exodus.
And in the book of Exodus, more than 25 times in one chapter, chapter seven, God says, "Enter and occupy." So it's not enough to, to walk in and enter, but you have- Yeah ... got to occupy. You have got to fill- Yeah ... the space. You have got to embody. You have got to know that you know that if God be for you, it matters not who be against you.
You have got to know- Yeah ... that you know that you are created in His image and likeness. You have got to- Yeah ... know that you know that when He created you, He called you prophet, and He gave you a mission to share with the world. Yeah. Hey, I hate to interrupt the goodness that's happening right now in this episode, but I need you to do me a quick favor.
If this episode is blessing your life and business right now, will you take a few moments and rate and review the show? Your words help more millions-minded [00:24:00] entrepreneurs find us and step into their next level. All right, thank you so much. Let's get back into the
Kelly Roach: conversation, 'cause we're just getting started.
Darnyelle: When I see you now having this conversation, the ethic alongside of the embodiment, it is just so beautiful. Yeah. It's so beautiful to watch. Yeah. And I just am so grateful. Again, not grateful that you had to go through what you had to go through, but grateful to have you in the vineyard, to have you sharing the message and helping people to realize that only what we do for God at that level is what lasts.
And that is- Yeah ... really what it's all about. Like, the emptyism of having a lot without having the substance.
Kelly Roach: Oh, my gosh.
Darnyelle: Like, who wants that? Like, nobody- So
Kelly Roach: much ...
Darnyelle: wants that, you know what I mean?
Kelly Roach: I, I, I was literally just gonna say, like, two things I will say to that. I'm grateful that I went through that as well.
Actually, I can't even believe I'm saying that, but it is true. For two reasons. You know, one, I cannot imagine trying to carry on [00:25:00] the identity of self-reliance- Mm ... in the world that we live in today. Like, I don't know how people do that. Me neither. I don't know how. Well, they're not doing it. Right. They're not doing it.
They're pretending as if- People are not surviving ... right. They're facade. They're, they're... It's not, it's not working. Right. Right? So one, I can't imagine trying to carry on that identity. And, and two, I'm so grateful because I cannot imagine the emptiness Of just doing more to do more and accumulating more to accumulate more.
And, like, where is the enough-ness- Right ... of, like, I'm making beautiful, amazing, life-changing amounts of money, and I can take time to be, like, I'm involved in my church, and I, I donate to a church planting, uh, organization that literally brings the gospel to places around the world where there's no churches.
And I, I get to do theology with my daughter and homeschool her. Yeah. And, like, it's, it's very interesting observing, and I know you have this [00:26:00] observation because when you've been in the online world for a long time, as we have- Yeah ... you watch so many people come and go. But even more amazing to me than watching the people come and go, is watching the people that continue but never find-
Darnyelle: Mm
Kelly Roach: a higher calling. I scratch my head and I watch people They've done what they're doing for so long. They've had high levels of success, and you look at them and you say, "That's it?"
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: Like, that's it? You're not looking for anything more? Like, how empty is it if the only thing you have is, is wealth and money?
Which I do. Right. So this is not, this is not a condemnation of someone who makes- Right ... millions of dollars. I do make millions of dollars, and I love making millions of dollars. But I will also say in the same breath, if I had to trade that for any of the other parts of my lives, I would trade that in a second.
And when people get [00:27:00] stuck on that as the singular thing, I'll never forget, I will never forget for the rest of my life, it made me s- I've actually never been so livid in my entire life. Mm. I saw Alex Hormozi post a post that said, "If you want to have a successful business, you should get used to missing your daughter's dance recital."
I- Remember, I re- ... about lost- Your rant ... my frick. I wrote, and I've never done that in my life.
Darnyelle: I remember that.
Kelly Roach: But on a core level, the fact that someone at the top of the business industry- Yeah ... market, whatever, level of fame, level of celebrity, top reach, top influence, top everything, would say something so irresponsible when we know we have an epidemic of loneliness.
We know- Yeah ... children need their parents. We know what's happening to these kids that their parents are so busy making money and building wealth that they have [00:28:00] no relationship with their children. We see what is happening with- Yeah ... the, the, the self-harm, with the, the depression, the loneliness, right? We see what the side effects of parents not being present are, and I literally could not believe my eyes.
Yeah. I, I could not believe it. And so yeah, but there's like a lot of, I just recorded a video about this, and, and this is not directed towards any like one person or one philosophy or whatever the case. God has an individual and unique plan for all of us, right? Yeah. Like, some of us are meant to be parents.
Some of us are meant to be single. Some of us are meant to foster children. Some of us are meant to have our own. Some of us, you know, like we all have like our own unique path. Right. But if you are an influential leader, like please do not model and recommend either subliminally or directly to be so irresponsible that you [00:29:00] would compromise a child's life-
Darnyelle: Yeah
Kelly Roach: by suggesting their parents not be present for them because of your greed And there's just, there's a lot of that that goes on. People that have made so much money they can never spend it in their lifetime, but they're so poor that all they have is money. Right. And I love money. I love money. Me too, Kelly.
It's, it's- I love
Darnyelle: money too ... right? And- Like,
Kelly Roach: and ...
Darnyelle: it's not everything And. Like, I, I know- Right ... the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:9, "Money answereth all things," and that is true. Mm-hmm. And the reason God talked about money, wealth, and possessions 2,300 times in the Bible is so- Yeah ... that we would be masters of it and not us- Yeah
being slaves to it That's the whole reason For sure. So yes, we should have it. For sure. We are a, we are abundance personified. We're supposed to have it. Exactly. That's how we get the kings, the keys to the kingdom. That's how we expand- Yeah ... all of that. And we also have a responsibility. I [00:30:00] think about 1 Timothy 6:10, everyone wants to quote, "For the love of money is the root of all evil," which I won't even go there right now.
I'm gonna go to verse 17. Right. Exactly. Yeah. So in verse 17, Paul is telling Timothy, he's got a territory full of wealthy people, and he's telling him how to direct these wealthy people so that they don't have to feel bad in their wealth. And there's three commands. The first one is to do good deeds.
Kelly Roach: Yeah. Yeah.
Darnyelle: The second one, second one is to not be arrogant or high-minded, and the third is to remember the source of your wealth. Yeah. If you do good deeds, if you are not arrogant, and you remember that God is the reason you have it in the first place, you can have as much money as you wanna have.
Kelly Roach: 100%.
Darnyelle: And here's the thing,
Kelly Roach: like there's- Exactly. Exactly
Darnyelle: Right. And there's no way that if you do good deeds, are not arrogant, and remember that God is the source of your money, that it will be all about the money. Right. There's no way, 'cause the two cannot occupy the same space. Yeah. So, I, you know, [00:31:00] I, I, I'm so glad you said that, because so many people will hear us- Yeah
talk and say, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, but y'all have money." Mm-hmm. I believe, Kelly, and I'm interested to hear what you have to say. I believe we have the money we have because we rightfully divide the word of truth. We have relationships with God. We put God first. I mean, Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God."
Before I do anything- Yeah ... I'm seeking God. Yeah. Before I open my bank account, I'm seeking God. Yeah. Like, I'm always seeking God in everything that I'm doing. Yeah. And that is why I have all the things, which include- Absolutely ... the wealth that go along with it.
Kelly Roach: Yeah. I, I think people that are tapped in, God is abundance.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: It's humanity that projects scarcity, fear, limitation. In order for me to, to win, someone else has to lose. That's all made up. We made up all that stuff, right? God is abundance. God gives us every opportunity, every possibility, every tool. He gives us the intellect. He gives us the blessings. He gives us the [00:32:00] opportunities.
He wants to put us, He has ordained us and given us the blessing and the potentiality to create wealth in our lives. Yes. 1,000%. But again- He gives us the win, we gotta lift the sail. We gotta lift it. Right? And so that's, we all have to make that decision, right? Yeah. To lift the sail, and to believe that you can lift the sail.
'Cause you can, right? You can.
Darnyelle: Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah, and it doesn't matter where you come from. I mean, the, you've got the two- Exactly ... of us sitting here right now, and- Yep ... we, you know, we equally have stories and backgrounds where- Yep ... you could easily say there's no way in the world that. Yep. Right? Or, but God, a- as the sayings go.
Like- Yeah ... I think it- Exactly ... it makes such a difference to be able to have that. You know, all season long we've been having the conversation on the show about what happens when it's no longer about being successful, and I feel like- Mm-hmm ... this conversation that we're having right now is such a big part of that.
I wanna make sure that we spend some time talking about your new book, [00:33:00] because I know it's gonna be, by the time this episode comes out, it's gonna be just about to come out or out already. So I wanna definitely give you an opportunity to talk about The Miracle Hour. But before we do, I wanna invite you to just think back on your journey and, and getting to the pinnacle of success, the pinnacle of heightening your, your faith and choosing family, you know, God, family, career.
Like, what were some of the things that you wish you knew before you recognized what it was really all about, that if you had a forum to tell people that today you'd wanna share with them?
Kelly Roach: I mean, probably the biggest difference for me would've been sharing my faith from day one.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: Like, that, that really, if there were, like, one decision, it would've been sharing my faith from day one.
Because I remember recording a podcast episode many years, I don't even remember, I've had my podcast 10 years. I wanna say it was maybe [00:34:00] seven or eight years ago, I recorded- Mm-hmm ... an episode that was, you know, about faith being my secret weapon, and it was, like, the first time I think I ever shared anything about my faith.
And- Mm-hmm ... you know, so I think that along my journey- I wouldn't make any decisions differently in terms of, like, my family life and the decisions I've made with Madison and Billy and, like, what we've built and how I've prioritized where my focus is in my life, 'cause I think that God really blessed me and cultivated me to, like, have discernment in those decisions.
But I do wish that I had shared sooner. I do wish that that had been a part of... And, and really, I wish I had had more courage, honestly. Mm-hmm. It, it, because truly it was a lack of courage that was the reason why. I think- Yeah ... attempting to be, like, professional and not knowing how people would respond or react or not wanting people to feel discluded or, you know, just all of those, those things.
So I just, I wish I had been more courageous. That would be one thing I [00:35:00] would, I would say to my younger self, and that would be something I would say to all of our listeners is, like, be courageous. Like, God- Yeah ... made you to be courageous, and He will bless you when you fulfill and show up fully for that.
And, you know, I look full circle at my life, like, since, you know, all of those things happened that I talked about earlier on the show, like, now I've had, like, the full cycle of, like, all of my dreams come true, getting to homeschool my daughter, which is, like, the pinnacle to me. Yeah. Focusing on generational legacy impact is, like, if I was at the end of my life and I could make one decision, I already made it.
Mm. I love that. Like, it's making sure that everything that I've learned and everything that I've done doesn't die with me, and that I don't have any regrets at the end of my life. That I was so focused on the world-
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm ...
Kelly Roach: that I didn't instill all that I had learned and gone through and, and achieved in my own daughter.
And the fact that I'm doing that now is, like, the full [00:36:00] circle moment of, like, all of my dreams coming true, you know?
Darnyelle: Yeah. I love that. I love that so much. Yes, there is a reason your strategy feels stalled, and I bet you didn't realize it's spiritual. Well, when I first started my business back in 2007, I was doing an event, and the event planner that I hired at the time, she really dissuaded me from all, all the God.
Like, I had scriptures- Mm ... everywhere, and it was, it was a prayer- Sure ... breakfast, and it was all these things. And she said, "You're inviting a lot of corporate people," 'cause I was coming straight from my time in corporate
Kelly Roach: America. Yeah, yeah. "
Darnyelle: They are gonna be offended, and they are not-" Mm-hmm "... gonna be happy."
And I did not have enough confidence in myself- Yep ... at that particular point in time. Yep. So, I completely removed all the God. I c- like, I went too far to the left. Yeah. And so by- Yeah ... the time we got to 2013, it had been bubbling on the inside of me. Like, and I was just like, "S- this does not feel at home.
It doesn't feel-"
Kelly Roach: Yeah ...
Darnyelle: great. And I always say, when- Yeah ... God gives you something, it doesn't need batteries.
Kelly Roach: Mm-hmm.
Darnyelle: And I felt like my life needed batteries at that particular point in time. And so by-
Kelly Roach: Yes ...
Darnyelle: [00:38:00] 2019, I was like, okay. Yes. I've gotta find a way back to bringing the God in me in, and I've gotta do it in a way that either, A, I'm just gonna not have to be afraid about everybody being offended, or all of a sudden people are gonna be wanting it.
And I'll never forget, before I, I did it at my event, just before that I had a speaking engagement at DuPont And I went in and I prayed before I started. Like, I felt the- Yeah ... Holy Spirit say, "Pray over this corporate room." Yeah. And I did, and no one walked me out.
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: They did not tell me- Yeah ... I had to leave.
I still got my check. Like, and I was like, "Oh my gosh, I..." It was all in my head that I- Yeah ... couldn't do this at, in every environment that I was in. Like you said, trying to be professional. And it really- Yep ... changed everything, and now I don't get on a stage without praying. Like, I don't care- Yep ... where I go.
It's the first thing I do. It's, I don't start- Yeah ... a webinar without praying. Like, I don't start a- Yeah ... coaching call without praying because if our money says, "In God we [00:39:00] trust," and our politicians say, "G- and God bless America," then I can certainly- Mm-hmm ... cover us in prayer before I teach whatever it is- Yeah
I'm gonna teach. And having that- Amen ... level of boldness and courage has been such a game changer. I just wanted to underscore what you said for anybody who's listening. All right, so I wanna talk about The Miracle Hour. Now, I- Yeah ... am proud to be a person who is supporting Kelly's new book, and I'm part of getting it out there into the world, and so I'm so excited.
So I cannot wait for my copies to arrive. Yeah. Even though I'm on a gap year, I'm still supporting because I believe in the work that this amazing woman does. Okay, so I made a note and I wrote a couple questions. I wanted to make sure that I went to them. Okay, so the new book, and I know this is not your first book.
You've written, like, how many?
Kelly Roach: This is my fifth book.
Darnyelle: Fifth, okay. So book- Yeah ... number five. Five is my favorite number, The Miracle Hour. So what does- Yeah ... miracle actually mean to you at this stage of your [00:40:00] life and business before we start talking about the book?
Kelly Roach: You know, miracle means that it's something that comes from beyond our capabilities.
Darnyelle: Mm.
Kelly Roach: Right?
Darnyelle: I love that.
Kelly Roach: Yeah. Yeah.
Darnyelle: That's good. Oh, that's so good. Mm-hmm. That's so good. All right. So tell us, like, what's the impetus for the book?
Kelly Roach: So at this point, at this stage with everything that I've built, everything that I've created, I am really focused on only creating things that are part of a legacy body of work that dial into how do I help more people build businesses that allow them to keep sacred the most sacred parts of life, faith, family, freedom, fulfillment, fitness.
And what I have watched for so long in the entrepreneurial space is people making sacrifices in all the wrong places that are un-reconcilable.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: You know, there's only a couple glass balls. There's only a few glass balls in our life, our [00:41:00] faith, our marriages, our relationship with our children, our health.
There's not 100 glass balls.
Darnyelle: Right.
Kelly Roach: There's a few, and people are dropping the glass balls.
Darnyelle: Mm.
Kelly Roach: Right? And so everything that I'm doing at this point is how do I help business owners understand how they can operate once again in congruence with, again, God's design and potentiality for their life to achieve greatness without sacrificing the sacred parts of life.
Darnyelle: Yeah.
Kelly Roach: And the impetus for writing the Miracle Hour book, the Miracle Hour's not new. I've been teaching it for many years. I've been using it in my business for forever. It's actually how I built my seven-figure business on my lunch break while I still worked 60 hours a week at my corporate job. But just like the Bible says, for a time such as this, right, Esther- Mm
it's the moment for the Miracle Hour because people have lost themselves once again with their [00:42:00] obsession with AI. And the Miracle Hour is about one hour a day-
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm ...
Kelly Roach: of relationship focused activation.
Darnyelle: Mm.
Kelly Roach: It is literally a system that people can install in their business for managing, nurturing, and converting relationships, dream makers, best buyers, peers, partners, collaborators, all of those things that can allow you to have continuity, consistency, predictability, success in your business without chasing and clawing and trying to beat the algorithm and, you know, AI-ifying everything and- Mm-hmm
you know, all these things that people are doing. And you know, y- I'm sure you've seen this trend over and over again. I've seen this trend over and over again. Every time some new thing comes to be, everyone is, like, just falling all over themselves to master whatever the newest, latest, greatest shortcut is.
And I think that for a lot of people, what's [00:43:00] happening with AI is, like- They are taking the God consciousness-
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm ...
Kelly Roach: of what they're supposed to be doing, which is being of service, transforming lives, reflecting and glorifying Him, and they're using AI to replace their voice, their strategy- Mm ... their thinking- Mm
their consciousness, their humanness.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: And so this, this is not about, like, using AI or not using AI. AI is in everything. AI is- Right ... in this tool that we're recording our podcast with right now. AI is in everything already. That's not what the conversation's about. The conversation is about who do you wanna be in the world, and what kind of person do you wanna be, and what kind of business do you want to run, and do you actually want to have a business where there's heart-to-heart, soul-to-soul relationships that are driving the [00:44:00] meaningful impact that you're trying to make in the world?
So the Miracle Hour is daily sales system. It will allow you to make sales every single day in your business without a shadow of a doubt, predictability, cash confidence, success. It, it breaks down into three parts, how to design, what activities to focus on, how to build your list, all of those things.
Darnyelle: Uh-huh.
Kelly Roach: But the meaning behind it is so much bigger and so much more important, which is who do you wanna be in the world, how do you wanna operate, and how are you going to show up in this new era that we're in? And a lot of people have already chosen that they're gonna outsource all of their content to AI, and they're gonna use AI bots and AI twins and AI simulations.
Mm-hmm, right. And it's like anything for the shortcut.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: Anything for the money. And then there's other people that are going to realize that stewardship, like actually stewarding someone to their highest potential, actually being of service, remembering, like, the purpose and the meaning and the [00:45:00] calling of why you created your business still matters.
Mm. And this book is for those people. Got it. This book is for those people that don't wanna lose their humanness. They wanna have a heart-to-heart, soul-to-soul connection. Not only that, and we can get into all the, like, tactical elements of it, but all the data, and I use tons of research and tons of data to back up everything that I talk about relating to the book.
All the high-ticket buying decisions-
Darnyelle: Yeah ...
Kelly Roach: all of it is shifting to-
Darnyelle: Yeah ...
Kelly Roach: a singular text message, a personal introduction, inner circle recommendations. It's all moving there. Yeah. Because people with money are like, "I'm not gonna sit in the cesspool of your AI- Right ... chatbots." Right. They're not gonna do it.
They're not entertaining it. So there's, there's like a philosophical idea, there's a strategic system so you can win every single day.
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm.
Kelly Roach: And then there's also the critical thinking of like, let's skate to where the puck is going. Your AI bots are gonna be sitting online [00:46:00] talking to one another.
Almost 50% of all internet activity is bots and AI now. Yeah. Next year they said it's gonna be 60%.
Darnyelle: Yeah. I was about to say,
Kelly Roach: I- So all the money's moving, and people are so busy building their army of AI agents that they don't even realize that the money just exited left-
Darnyelle: Mm-hmm ...
Kelly Roach: and they don't have a system to capitalize on it.
So this book is for the people that are like, "Oh, wait a second. Yeah, that's right. Like, if I'm gonna make a 30, 50, $100,000 investment, I'm probably going to vet that investment through my inner circle, or I'm gonna text a friend to get a referral, or I'm gonna ask for a personal introduction. I'm not gonna go interact with someone's chatbot on Instagram."
Darnyelle: Right. I love that. Yeah. I, I love it because you're absolutely right. AI is here to stay. It's, it's not going away. Yeah. But we have to make a decision to not become so consumed by and with AI that we forget who we are or who we were- Yeah ... created to be. It's funny, and I- Yeah ... you know, I use it, but- We do, too
I'm still creating. You [00:47:00] know, I'm still creating. We do, too. Like, I didn't become any less creative because now I can use- Yeah ... Claude or, you know, ChatGPT. I know everybody's moving away from ChatGPT or whatever. Yeah. But I'm like, I don't want to turn off my brain. Like,
Kelly Roach: I, I don't want- Well, that's... I mean, that's a whole nother thing.
They already have started doing the brain scans on people, and it is not good. And listen, we use AI in my business. Yeah. Let me just be very clear. Like, we all... Y- there's not gonna be a way to operate- Right, right, right, right ... a business not using it.
Darnyelle: Absolutely.
Kelly Roach: It's about, it's about being clear on where and how.
Darnyelle: Right.
Kelly Roach: Right? But they are doing the brain scans, and they are finding the people that are developing this over-reliance on it, memory loss. They don't have the critical thinking skills. Even their speech, it's showing up in their actual speech and communication skills because they're basically just starting the thought and then having Claude or ChatGPT finish it or whatever the case.
So it's discernment. Yeah. It's like anything else. With anything, yeah. It's like if you have ice cream a [00:48:00] couple times a week, are you gonna be okay? Yeah. If you have ice cream for every meal every day- Yeah ... and it's all you eat, probably not gonna work out that way. Yeah. Right? It's, it's just like everything else in life.
It's discernment.
Darnyelle: Yeah.
Kelly Roach: And it's not making decisions out of, like, greed or, like, FOMO or whatever the case, but strategically.
Darnyelle: Yeah.
Kelly Roach: Right? Where do the pieces of the puzzle fit together? And where do you think those pieces of the puzzle fit in God's bigger plan and vision for your business- Yeah ... and for your life and how you're here to be of service?
Darnyelle: Yeah. I love that. I'm, I'm so happy- To hear that. I got a copy of the audiobook because I'm participating, and I have not had a chance. Mm. I've been traveling the last two weeks. I'm a physical, hold the book in my hands, highlight kinda girl. So I'm kinda- Yeah ... waiting for my physical books to show up so then I can listen- Yes
to the audiobook while I have the physical book- Yeah ... so I can line and underline and all the things. Yeah. And one of the things that I really enjoy about the way you teach, and, and, and, you know, you're such a [00:49:00] pioneer. Like, I- people tell me all the time- Yeah ... that I'm a pioneer, like, I'm saying things, and then all of a sudden everybody else is saying them.
And I feel like- Yeah ... you're the same way. Like, you know.
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: I- and I could probably give, like, five different examples off the top of my head of things. Oh, thank you. I'm like, "You know what? I heard Kelly say that first." And now- Yeah ... everybody and their grandfather is saying it. Thank you. And it's like- Yeah
it's just... Well, I think it goes to show a couple of different things. Number one, you are, like, the real deal. You're not an online business owner. Like, does, does that- No ... like, drive you crazy? Like, it drives me crazy. I'm like- Yeah ... "I am not an online business. Yes, my business is online, but I'm a- Yes ... real, bonafide- Yes
business owner," right?
Kelly Roach: Yes.
Darnyelle: Yes. Um, and, and it, it just goes to the, the breadth and the depth of the experience that you bring to the table. Which- Mm-hmm ... again, I think it's, there are few of us who are able to share the- Yeah ... level of content and information for business- Yeah ... that isn't cyclical, that isn't- Yeah
trendy. I mean, I [00:50:00] think that's what I'm excited about for the Miracle Hour. And, you know, I have a process- Yeah ... that I use myself, but I'm looking forward to looking at yours- Yeah ... and seeing what I can adopt in order to make mine better. Yeah. And I don't have a problem saying that. But I think that there are so few of us who really understand business and know business.
You know, I tell people all the time- Yeah ... like, I never, in none of my programs, did I ever teach anything that was trendy. Every single piece of content I've ever shared in all of my curriculums and frameworks and methodologies have been tried and true business. That would not matter what was going on in the world, they are the things that impact business and, and that's one of the things that I was saying about Kelly, that I feel like she understands that as well, as well as being a pioneer.
You said you've been teaching this for years, and you said a few minutes ago, "For such a time as this." What was the cue that said to you, "You know what? I need to release my book"? Like, what, what did it-
Kelly Roach: Yeah. So we basically about a year and a half ago, we brought this back to the [00:51:00] forefront, right? We had been using this internally for forever and a day, right?
For many years in my own business. And when the market really started shifting about a year and a half ago- Mm-hmm ... we started teaching this and, like, going super hard inside the virtual business school teaching this, and it was just, like, popping. People were killing it, and it was at the same time when, like, so many businesses were just, like, being obliterated because the- Yeah
market shifted. Mm-hmm. Trust, recession, inflation, wages, you know, the whole thing going on. Right. And people are buying differently now, right? So we were just teaching it and teaching it and seeing people just get insane results, and we're like, "This is the simplest thing ever." And I think for me it's like sometimes you're so close to something.
Like, initially, like, I just think I was so close to it, and we had been doing it for so long, and we almost took it for granted that we weren't like, "Oh, let's, like, write a book and make a big thing about this." But now it is a big thing. Yeah. Because people can't figure out how to make sales every day, and it's because it's gotten so complicated and so out of [00:52:00] control.
And to your point, the Miracle Hour is so stupid simple. I taught it to my daughter in three weeks. She does it for the Courage Club. Mm-hmm. And literally anyone can do this. All of my team members do it without me. They make sales on their own every day, and people are just getting insane results. And I think to your point, people really need something right now in their back pocket- Yeah
that they can win with regardless of what happens with AI- Yeah ... regardless of what happens with the platforms. You don't even need social media to do this. We have people doing this totally off of social media. So you can do it any, any business, any industry, any price point, any platform. Doesn't matter whether you're online or offline, and it's the simplest system you can ever imagine, but the reason why it's so important right now is quite frankly, I don't wanna keep seeing entrepreneurs destroy their marriages, not spend time with their children, uh, have a health crisis 'cause they don't take care of themselves, be in deep depression because they're going into horrible debt.
Like- I want to stop the insanity. Yeah. And [00:53:00] if you have a sales system that produces every single day, then you won't have this fear driving your business, which then leads you to make decisions of dropping glass balls that you can never recover from. And for me, that's the most important thing for me in all of my work now.
It's no longer about, can I help people build a seven or eight figure business? Yes, I can. We both do that. You do that. I do that. We've helped hundreds of people do that. That's not the question anymore. It's how many people can we help build these businesses while putting their faith first? Yeah. While taking care of the things that really matter in life, while preserving their identity.
Yeah. While doing it in a way that's in an integrity. Now, that's the new question that we all have to answer. Absolutely. And by we all, I mean me and you and the other leaders that are striving for something bigger, not just Secular wins- Yeah ... but the glory from beyond, yeah.
Darnyelle: I love all of it, and I'm so excited for the [00:54:00] simplicity, right?
We, we say- Yes ... every once in a while, "Let's go back to the basics," because we do. Yep. It's so simple- Yep ... that we forgot that it's how- Yep ... we got there. I've had that- That's it ... happen so many times- Yep ... in my business where I'm like-
Kelly Roach: All of
Darnyelle: us ... "Why did we stop doing this? This was working very, very well. Why did we get this- Yep
bright, shiny object syndrome and stop doing what we know that works?" And so I love- That's it ... just making it simple, making it easy for people to be able to get that. We'll make sure that we put the links in the show notes- Thank you ... so that everyone will be able to go and get their copy if they don't have one already.
Because you need this book in your life, and I, I don't care- They all do ... what you're doing. I'm like you, Kelly. Sell every day you wanna make money, and you- Yep ... should wanna make money every day. And if you don't have the skill to sell every day, then you're, you have a problem. Because most- Right ... problems in business are resolved through sales.
Kelly Roach: That's right.
Darnyelle: I don't care what- That's right ... the problem is, right? If we get more sales- That's so true ... we can solve this problem. So I love- That is
Kelly Roach: true ...
Darnyelle: the baseline, the simplicity of something that is why we're all in business. You're not [00:55:00] a- Yep ... coach, a consultant, a, an attorney- Yep ... an accountant. You are a marketer and a salesperson.
Kelly Roach: Uh-huh.
Darnyelle: That's right. Period. And so if you- That's right ... don't understand that basic simple skill, then it's going to be a problem. And what I love about this Miracle Hour is that it's an hour. Yep. Who doesn't have an hour? Yep. And it gives you the time back for the other things that are important to you.
For me- That's it ... you know, health and wellness, time with family- Yes ... loved ones. Like, those types of things, you get that as well, and you don't have to sacrifice anything on your journey- Yeah ... to building a business that will sustain you and build that financial legacy. I love it. I'm here for it all day.
Yeah. So excited that the world is going to get to experience this powerful book. Kelly, I love you so much. I, I have- Oh, I appreciate you so much ... always had an a- an affinity for who you are and the work that you do, and I think I sent you a text message, right, when the first time I saw you- Yeah ... say out loud, you know, uh, eh, I call, call us God girls, right?
The first time I heard you- Yes ... say that out loud, I think I sent you a text message. And I just love that you [00:56:00] are here and you are doing this work, and I love that you refuse to compromise on what's most important. And I love- Thank you ... how you h- are just continuing to evolve and to shift into becoming just this powerful, powerful vessel for God.
And it, it just excites me so much. Thank you. I just, again, I wanna let you know I see you. And I am grateful to, to know you. I'm grateful to have your number in my phone.
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: You know, if I ever need you, I know that I could reach out to you- Yep ... and you would find- 1,000% ... a way to support me, 'cause you have every single time.
Again- Yeah ... so benevolent and, and just- Thank you ... love everything that you are about and everything that you're doing. I am gonna ask you our Move to Millions wisdom questions, but before I do, I would like to give you the floor if there's anything else that is on your heart that you would like to share that's important for our audience to hear in order to continue to anchor in and integrate the power that has been inside of this episode.
The floor is yours.
Kelly Roach: Thank you so much. Yeah, I mean, I would just say for everyone listening [00:57:00] that, you know, hopefully listening to this conversation today invited you to explore a part of yourself that maybe you haven't brought forward yet, and I would just encourage you that both of us have had that experience, that everyone is waiting to embrace that next evolution of what God would have for you.
And so you don't need to fear. Be courageous, trust yourself, and go for it.
Darnyelle: Awesome, awesome, awesome. So good. So good. So good. All right, well, now we've just gotta ask you our Move to Millions wisdom questions, and I told you about this before.
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: The conversation often goes in lots of different directions, and I really like to ground our audience into a book that they can add to their professional library, a quote that they can nibble on, that they can meditate on, that will help them to feel the power that is already their birthright, and then a tool that they can utilize in order to continue their own move to and beyond the million-dollar mark.
So- Mm-hmm ... what is the book? What is the quote? What is the tool that has made all the difference- Thank you ... on [00:58:00] your own move to millions?
Kelly Roach: Perfect. Okay. Well, I would say definitely Discerning the Voice of God had a just massive impact on my life and on grounding into that bigger vision of who is God calling us to become.
And so I, I can't recommend it enough. I read it over and over again. Actually, I'm looking right now. It's literally sitting three feet away from me 'cause I, like, carry it around the house with me. I shared this verse earlier, and I try to live by it every single day, which is, "Do not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time you will succeed if you do not give up."
And, you know, I think that's just a reminder for every single person listening to this show today that if you're here and God gave you that one more day of life, God is saying to you, "You're not done." Yeah. "I am here to prosper you. I am here to cultivate you." And whatever it is that you have ahead of you, God placed that there so that you could become everything that you're capable of being.
So just, you know, one foot in front of the other and have that, that trust.
Darnyelle: Yeah. Awesome. [00:59:00]
Kelly Roach: Yeah.
Darnyelle: Awesome. And then last is the tool.
Kelly Roach: The tool, I would say The Miracle Hour book. The Miracle... I knew you were gonna say that. You guys gotta go get it. I knew you were gonna say that. Yeah, I mean, you have to because the thing is is the The Miracle Hour book is the tool for the moment that you always needed but never knew that you needed, but now you aren't gonna wanna live without kind of thing.
And it's because of everything you already said. Yeah. It's because it's just returning to the basic fundamentals that when you read it, like I've had people come to me that are listening to the audiobook for the third time now. These are people running seven and eight-figure businesses saying- Yeah ... "I don't know, like I've been in a trance.
Like I don't know what I've been doing." Yeah. "But I, like, forgot my power, and I forgot how simple and easy it can be." And they're just reverting back to what they already know, and they're doing this imperfectly and just kinda getting started with it, but the money's everywhere, and the opportunity's everywhere.
It's just we got wound very deeply- Mm ... into all of these nooks and crannies of what we're doing that really got us away from that heart-to-heart, human-to-human, [01:00:00] face-to-face type of connection with people. Yeah. And it's, everything is easy when you remove all those barriers to success. So I'm excited for people to get back to basics and win again.
Darnyelle: Yeah. I love it. I love it. I love it. This has been phenomenal. I'm so glad that we made this a priority to get you on here. This has been so good. So good, so good, so good. Thank you so much for being here. I
Kelly Roach: appreciate you so much. Yeah. Uh, I appreciate you so much, and thank you so much for the work that you do in the world and all the million-dollar businesses that have been created but have been created with God at the front and center because of you.
So I wanna honor you, uh, and just share that, like, reflection back to you of how special what that work in the world that you're doing is, and thank you so much for the opportunity to get to be here today.
Darnyelle: Awesome. Well, there you have it, folks, and we'll see you next time. Take care. Now, I told you it was gonna be good.
I pray you feel as tingly and warm and fuzzy as I do right now. I enjoyed this conversation with Kelly so much. [01:01:00] I didn't know how the conversation was going to go. I knew what I really wanted us to talk about, and it delivered so much more power than I even thought possible. Here's what I know. I believe truly only what you do for God will last.
I truly believe that those of us who understand the power, significance, and authority of operating in the fullness of who God called us to be are the ones who are winning right now. More than AI, more than anything else that might be coming down the pike, is recognizing the significance of who has your soul and how you are leveraging your soul Anchoring in your soul as well as your strategy to achieve success that is unparalleled.
And what I enjoyed about my conversation with Kelly is that we got to go there. We got to have a really powerful conversation. I loved when she said, "When you're coming out of [01:02:00] survival, you focus on the bottom," right? And she was talking specifically about Maslow's hierarchy of needs. But when you actually start to operate in surrender, you get to move up the pyramid.
I love that. And when we release the need, the fear, and the obsession over worldly things, you get to be human and show up fully in who God called you to be. She went from the high stress of walking every single day and praying not to have a heart attack to truly putting God first and watching that change everything in her life experience, and I could not be more excited.
Because, as she said, God is abundance and humanity is what projects scarcity. I love that we got to talk about her new book, The Miracle Hour. I've got copies coming in support of her launch. I believe in the work that she is doing, and I hope that you will enjoy it too. Make sure that you get your hands on a copy of The Miracle Hour, and just put yourself in a position [01:03:00] to really be able to influence your ability to sell every day.
No matter what's going on in the world, no matter what's going on in your business, any problem you have can be solved by more sales. And I love that Kelly has taken the time to create a book to teach you a powerful, simple framework that's going to allow you to do just that. I'm so glad that you were able to join me for this powerful conversation with Kelly, and I will see you guys next time.
