I highly Recommend that you get a copy of the book. The book released in 2023 after being written in 2021, and in 2024, we expanded the methodology. I recognize that success mindset, which is the fifth pillar in the framework, I needed to go a little deeper. And so we've expanded success mindset to still be success mindset, soul leadership, self care, and sovereignty. So in this particular series, we're talking all about the soul. It has become increasingly apparent to me, especially this year, because of many of the changes that have happened in the market, the importance of the soul work. I am aware that you have to work on your soul at three times the rate you work on your strategy in order to really take a business to seven figures. In this current economy, the market has changed, and what used to work is still working, but it's working differently.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:04:03]:
And in order to have all of the things that need to be modified in your strategy actually work, you're going to have to spend time on your inner game. Here's what we now know. We know that Maslow's hierarchy of needs. If you are familiar with Maslow's hierarchy of needs, old school has always been telling us the truth. Our ability to make ridiculous amounts of money is tied to how safe we feel. And many entrepreneurs are entrepreneurs out of necessity, out of survival. That's why they're hustling and grinding and they do not feel safe. And that is a big part of the reason why the money is not flowing into their business.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:04:48]:
They've got all the strategies, they know how to run the funnels, they're doing the webinars and the challenges and holding the events, and it's still not yielding what they truly desire to experience in their businesses. It's because strategy alone is not going to get you to seven figures, especially not seven figures that you can sustain over time. Did you realize that 78% of entrepreneurs who hit seven figures never do it again because they hustled and grinded and burnt themselves out to get there. And if you burn out before you cash out, it's going to make it really hard for you to break through. And so in this episode, we're talking all about alignment, which is the second key in the soul leadership pillar inside of our move to Millions method. So we're going to get all into alignment today. I love talking about alignment. And as I talk about alignment, those of you who are gonna watch the video version of this episode, you'll actually get to see me doing things with my body to demonstrate what I mean and what I feel when I say alignment.

For those of you who are listening to the audio, no fear, you can go over to YouTube and watch the video version of the episode in order to be able to see the things that I'm doing. And I'll do my best to describe them to you as we're going through it now. Running through the center of my body and yours are seven chakras. You know God likes to do things in sevens, right? We have our crown chakra, which is the top of our head. Our third eye chakra, which is like right in the center of the forehead. I've got a mole there. We have our throat chakra. We have our heart chakra.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:06:28]:
We have our solar plexus chakra. We have our sacral chakra. And we have our root chakra. Seven chakras, perfection and completion in our body. These seven chakras govern and inform our nervous system. Our nervous system is the series of systems in our body that allow us to operate. It's like our CPU, if you will. And as human beings, when we do not feel safe, we will experience the fight, the flight, the flawing or the, the freeze reaction.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:07:03]:
And when we are not safe, it will inhibit our ability to create. We actually have a chakra that is all about our creation, our sacral chakra. It's not just our pleasure center, but it is also our, our bed of creativity. And so if you're ever feeling not creative in your life and your business, actually no matter what you're feeling, we can tie it to one of your chakras. I'm going to do a whole nother series on the chakras and the role that they play in your body and in your business. That'll come for another day. Right now we're in the Soul Leadership series and we're talking all about alignment today. So for me, I define alignment as seeing yourself the way that God sees you.

And so when I think about when we are born, right. So when we come into the earth realm as vessels of light, we are fully abundant. We are fully creative. We are fully expressive. We are full, fully who God willed us to be before we were formed in our mother's womb. That's how we come here.

I believe that your parents did the best that they could with what they have. But I am also often of the belief I don't know your story, so I'm going to make it about mine. Of the belief that our parents, although they did the best that they could with what they had, their best, was not the best. And as a result, we are taught lack. We are taught fear. We are introduced to struggle. We are introduced to strife and chaos and all of these emotions and feelings that threaten our safety. And so when we don't feel safe, we underperform, we undercharge, we underestimate the power and the value of our greatness.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:09:51]:
And that is often the space that we come into entrepreneurship. And that is often the reason why we're in businesses that don't defy the statistics. Now, 10.35% by some studies, as much as 12% by others are the number of businesses that generate six figures a year. Out of 35 million businesses in the United States, approximately 4.2% of those businesses generate seven figures a year. And that number gets smaller. If we take women 1.9%, black people 0.9%, or black women, 0.5%. The numbers get smaller and smaller and smaller. This is how we know it's not just strategy, y' all, because if it were just about strategy, we'd all be making millions.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:10:40]:
Enter the soul and the need for soul leadership. Soul leadership is my way of saying, looking at the inner game and allowing that to lead you and determine how you lead others so that you can experience the abundance that I believe is your birthright. And so inside of our soul leadership pillar, we've got seven shifts. So far, we've talked about the shift of confidence, and today we're going to get all the way into the shift on alignment. All right, so let's jump into my notes. Right, So I believe that you can Say that you want to scale to seven figures, but deep down, if you don't see yourself as a seven figure CEO, then it's going to impact your ability to get there. And this, so we're clear, is not a strategy issue. It's an identity issue.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:11:32]:
It's an alignment issue. Until your inner image actually matches your outer vision, you're going to be out of alignment. And your business will always feel like it's stalling, sabotaging, or stuttering forward. So this episode is going to serve as your wake up call to close the gap between who God says that you are and who you have been settling to be. I believe that God will let you live on whatever level you settle for. And if he's going to let you live on whatever level you settle for, I'm going to invite you to settle for the next level of everything. Why not? Why not? And we get there through our depiction of our alignment. So you can't manifest what you don't believe you deserve and you cannot receive what your identity is.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:12:24]:
Consistently rejecting alignment is about seeing yourself the way that God sees you and choosing to lead from that truth, not your trauma. This is where soul leadership really becomes real. Because you can't build a business that feels aligned if you feel out of sync with yourself. Okay, story time. So back in 2016, my business did $2.8 million that year. I was booked and busy in a good way, but also in a burnout way. I was living out of suitcases. I was always on the road.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:13:03]:
I kept an ear infection, and I was gaining weight incessantly, y' all. I was unrecognizable to myself. Now I happen to be 5 8, so that makes me a taller woman, which means I carry it well. People say all the time, especially now that I've lost 58 pounds, they're like, but where did you lose 58 pounds from? I was 198 pounds with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre diabetic, and a BMI of 27. When I finally heard the doctor say, in between the words, he actually said that I was gonna die if I didn't get myself together. And so I got myself together. And at that particular point in time back in 2016, I was severely out of alignment. Now, I'm a very confident woman.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:13:49]:
I talked all about confidence in the last episode. I am a very confident woman. I have confidence for days. I have confidence that I can lend to you so that you can become confident. But at this particular point in time in my life, I was so out of alignment that my confidence was waning. My business was literally killing me, and I was willing to give it all up and throw it all away. The next year, 2017, my business did a little less than $600,000. From $2.8 million in 2016 to a little less than like 593,000.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:14:35]:
And some change is what we did in 2016, if I remember correctly, off the top of my head, I could be off, give or take a little, but literally $2.2 million less than I had the year before. And here's what began to change in 2017. I got back into alignment. I also got married that year. I started to prioritize different things. Now, I still was not effectively prioritizing my health, which is why I got up to 198 pounds. But I was starting to prioritize the significance of my soul. And I was starting to realize that scripture, what does it matter if you gain the whole world, but you lose your soul? And I started to do things differently.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:15:24]:
This is really where my personal soul work began. In 2017. It is what I believe led to the creation of Breakthrough. We did an event for three years called Breakthrough in Business, which was a soul and spiritual alignment incubator. And it led to, in 2019, God giving me next level everything because he'll let you live on whatever level you settle for. And in 2020, him giving me the movement of my life, which is Move to millions. Which is why we're all today here on the Move to Millions podcast. Because I started to do the inner work.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:16:00]:
And I'm going to be honest with you, this does not change overnight. No one goes to bed a blunder and wakes up a wonderful. It is a journey. It takes time. It took me time because I had to be willing to come into alignment with more of what God said about me. Many things I was lining up in, but the most important things, I wasn't. And I had to do that work and I had to be willing to make changes in order to experience the results of the work. 2018, just shy of a million dollars, like 960 something thousand dollars.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:16:42]:
Now, I could have done a million dollars in 2018 if I wanted to, but I was like, eh, I'm good. I didn't want to strive. I didn't want to push. I believe that effort makes you tired, but embodiment makes you millions. So by 2019, I was fully embodying the version of myself that would make, move and leave millions. I could feel flow in my vessel when I spoke about seven figures again and I knew that I was ready. I was energetically ready. I was soully ready.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:17:23]:
I was ready in every way. I was in alignment with the vision of of myself that God has held since the beginning. When I started Incredible One Enterprise, God told me it was going to be a seven figure company. A multi seven figure company. He told me that.

And so as I began to hold capacity for it, everything began to change. This is why alignment is so important at Move to Millions Live this year, I did this really different exercise to demonstrate alignment. I had the attendees line up parallel and the person with the shortest hair was the guide. And they were just to do things. And the person with the longest hair was to mimic or to align with the things that they were doing. And what it got for the attendees, what they realized is that alignment takes movement, alignment takes decision, and alignment takes focus. Because in order for this person to do what this person was doing, they had to be locked in, completely locked in in order to get it. And so I want to invite you right now to get locked in.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:19:59]:
I want to invite you to lock in to being in alignment. So let's first talk about what misalignment looks like in your business. So let me paint the picture. So you've got clients, you've got cash flow, and you've got a calendar that's always full, but something still feels off. It's a Keith Sweat moment, as I like to call them. Something, something, something, something just ain't right. You know when something's just not right, right? And here's the thing. That's not failure, that's misalignment.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:20:31]:
Because when the clients, the cash flow and the calendar are all full, you should feel good in your body. You should feel light and airy. You should feel gratitude. Because you are changing lives. And if any tension is showing up anywhere in your vessel, that is an indication that you are out of alignment. So here's what it could show up as you doubt your success. Even when the evidence is there. You procrastinate on becoming visible.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:21:02]:
Not because you don't have content, but because you don't feel worthy of being seen. You shrink in big rooms or you avoid big rooms altogether. You forget that you were called to take up space. You self sabotage in your launches, on your offers and in your team hires because deep down you're afraid that success will cost you your peace or the people that you love. This is especially for my women that are listening. Many of you won't go to seven figures because you think that your husband will not be comfortable with you out earning him. And even if there's some truth to that, there is a way to get in alignment with who God is calling you to be and to get your husband on board. Because provision is not only financial, there are other ways for him to provide for you and you might need the sole leadership to show him the way so that you don't fear yourself out of your divine destiny.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:22:02]:
You might feel stuck even though on paper it looks like everything is working. Do you realize that 72% of entrepreneurs report mental health challenges, many of which stem from the emotional dissonance of building a big business while seeing themselves while still seeing themselves through a small lens. You can't keep growing a business while mentally shrinking yourself. So let's talk a little bit about God's version of you versus your current self image. And let's talk about identity lag. Specifically, identity lag is when your business grows faster than your self concept. When you're hitting six or multiple six figures or even seven, but you're still making decisions like the woman who was trying to really scrape together her first 100k. Here's the truth.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:22:53]:
You are not who you were when you started and God's version of you, girl, she's already equipped. God will never give you the vision without also giving you the provision. You know that, right? She's already anointed. She's already ready. Here's a scripture that'll help you to anchor in. I Love this. Proverbs 23:7. As a man or woman thinks in her heart or his heart, so is he.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:23:21]:
Or she. As a man thinketh, so is he. You are who you say that you are. Alignment is about making sure that who you say that you are lines up to what you feel in your body through your chakras, in your nervous system, your ability to be safe and feel safe in and around your greatness. And trust me, I get it. Okay? I remember the very first time that a really good friend who is a prophet, she's actually the prophetic coach in our programs, told me that I was a prophet. P R O P H E T for profit P R O F I T I'mma be honest, I didn't like it very much. It sounded like I was pimping Jesus.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:24:04]:
And there are already enough people in the marketplace doing that. I didn't like it. But what I realized is that I was out of alignment and I didn't see myself the way that God saw me. So as I started to lean into and try on my propheticness, that's probably not a word, my prophetic nature, I realized that I was born for this. I was anointed and appointed for this. And as I just allow my safety with my own greatness to envelop me, I could show up and show out as a prophet, literally. Not only seeing the path that people should take to unlock the money that is their birthright inside of their business, what strategies they should use, what messaging they should say, literally, this is the soul of the work that we do with clients. My anointing is allowing me to help our clients to experience greater abundance in everything that it is that they're doing.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:25:02]:
I had to line up. I had to come into alignment with that vision of myself, which was the vision that God held of me. And I had to believe with everything in me that I was worthy of it and that I was deserving of it. Because if I'm honest, there was a time when I wasn't. And it took me time. Y' all, I am not trying to lead you to believe that you will go to bed tonight a blunder and you will wake up tomorrow a wonder. It's a journey. Soul leadership is a journey.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:25:32]:
But you can and will fulfill seeing yourself the way that God has always seen you. It is totally, totally possible for you. If your thoughts about yourself are still rooted in shame, scarcity or struggle, then your business will always reflect an internal distortion. You don't become her after you hit seven figures, you become her. And then you hit seven figures. The milestone catches up with your alignment to your identity. This is divine identity work. It's the work of moving from your trauma and it's the work of moving from who your trauma trained you to be to who God already says that you are.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:26:15]:
You are all together beautiful, my darling. There is no flaw in you. That song of Solomon 4 and 7, that's not just poetry, that's perspective. He's already seeing you as whole and wholly capable of taking up space because you have the capacity for millions. So why, incredible one, are you still playing small? Let's talk about how alignment creates quantum growth inside of your business. When you finally start seeing yourself the way that God sees you, everything begins to shift. You stop moving out of fear and start making decisions from a space of faith. And remember, you only need faith the size of a mustard seed.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:27:00]:
God will give you more while you're moving than he will if you stand still. Taking the very first step you know to take can be enough. You'll stop moving out of fear and you'll stop chasing clients. You'll start attracting them because of your alignment. People will hear something that you said and they will tune into your frequency and they will find you and find a way to work with you. You stop using marketing to prove something and start using it to serve from your overflow. And you will no longer see your value as a mechanism of effort. Instead, you'll lead from certainty like it's already done and it's already yours.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:27:44]:
Because when your identity is elevated, your business will accelerate. So here are three things you can begin to do in order to experience soul aligned identity right here, right now. Number one, Pray this truth out loud every morning. I am who God says I am. Equipped, worthy, powerful and ready for overflow. Oh, that felt good. Let me say that one more time. I am who God says that I am.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:28:09]:
Equipped, worthy, powerful and ready for overflow. Let it reset your self perception every single day. I have a group of clients that we've been praying and tapping every single day. We call it our Tap into Abundance Crew. And we literally tap Emotional freedom technique on the meridian points that are related to our chakras to keep our nervous system regulated and feeling safe. Number two, audit your self Talk. Where are you still speaking from your old identity? Begin replacing I'm not ready with I'm already equipped. Replace I'm too much with I'm made for this.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:28:45]:
And number three, journal this prompt. If I saw myself the way God sees me, I would. If I saw myself the way God sees me, I would. Oh, that's good. Let the answers guide you to your next decision. I believe that your next level is waiting for you to come into alignment with it. It's not waiting on more action. It's waiting for you to see yourself the way that God has always seen you.
Darnyelle Jervey Harmon [00:29:15]:
That's what it's waiting for.
