Don’t Do Theory

Welcome to season 2 of the Leverage Your Incredible Factor Podcast! Not only is 2020 the Year of Next level Everything, but this ENTIRE season of the podcast, our theme and focus is about taking everything for you to the next level.

I going to warn you… if you are a coach, I might upset you this week.  But what I am sharing needs to be said… The truth is, there are not that many things that “burn my biscuits,” but the topic of this week’s podcast is one of those very few things.  It’s kind of in line with the Elephant in the Room episode which touched on integrity – but in reverse.

This episode is about what frustrates me about the marketplace that we operate in.  I get bothered by the notion that it’s okay to theorize someone to their next level.  What I mean is helping a client do something that you have no personal experience in, you know, theorizing.  The best coaches and consultants have walked a mile in the shoes they are helping their clients wear.  Because when they do, they won’t be spouting theory.  Instead they’ll be ushering them into transformation.

So, don’t do theory, do what I share in the episode instead.

This episode is powered by The Next Level Everything Tour visiting Washington, DC, Newark, DE and Atlanta, GA
