As a multi 7 figure CEO, our company runs on a 3 y

As a multi 7 figure CEO, our company runs on a 3 year strategic plan. In August, I review and update the plan for the new year. This gives my team time all 4th quarter working on the assets required to fulfill the plans we create for all of 2025.

Then at the start of 4th quarter, we start working on our year end checklist (which you can download at www.darnyelle.com/eoy-checklist)

In December, I spend time finalizing the plans and solidifying three things in preparation for the new year: the plan, the team (cuts and additions) and the budget.

It’s important that I see a 3-5x ROI on the role each team member plays, so I’m reviewing their KPIs and validating the achievement of their keys towards our annual results.

In December, I also meet with my financial management team on a weekly basis. We are meeting about our annual projected profit for the year (4th quarter is the most profitable quarter in our business every year and it can change almost daily) We meet on final tax reduction strategies like my retirement plan, business expansion investments and buying real estate to offset profit with immediate current year tax benefits. And we finalize our budget and projections for the new year.

This is so important because without proper financial guidance it’s easy to overspend or think that the only way to offset liability is through more acquisition. That’s not always the case.

I’ve shared all of this to say, I’ve spent the last two days behind a closed door ALONE CEO-ing while making difficult decisions and putting final details in place for my team, our Q1 campaigns and the company as a whole.

To say that I feel good about 2025 is an understatement.

I’ve never been one for announcing my every move, but these moves are high level not eye level.
